Color & undertone
Compare the real material against linings, trims, other fabrics or an existing color target.
WEAVESOURCE · SAMPLE POLICY
Samples help you check color, texture, pattern scale and hand feel before a larger fabric order—especially when those details matter to the finished piece.
CURRENT SAMPLE PROGRAM
Samples are available for many fabrics in the catalog. Availability, sample size and price can depend on the material, pattern repeat and current stock, so the product page or our team is the best reference for a specific fabric.
HOW TO ORDER
Start from the exact fabric so the sample can be tied back to the correct material reference.
When color options are available, choose the colorway you want to evaluate.
If the product page offers a Sample size or option, add it to cart. If you do not see one, contact us with the product link.
Save the SKU or product reference with the swatch so the same material can be identified when you return for yardage.
SAMPLE CREDIT
Under the current published sample policy, the sample cost for a fabric can be credited when you later purchase 10 yards or more of that same sampled fabric. The credit is tied to the specific fabric sampled and should be claimed within 6 months of the original sample purchase.
If you bought three different samples and later place a qualifying order for one of them, the credit applies to the sample cost for that specific fabric—not automatically to every sample in the earlier order.
Contact us when placing the qualifying order so the sample purchase can be referenced. If a product, quantity or policy detail is important to your purchase decision, confirm it with us before ordering.
WHAT A SAMPLE CAN TELL YOU
Photography is useful for discovery, but displays, lighting and image compression can change how color and texture appear.
Compare the real material against linings, trims, other fabrics or an existing color target.
Check softness, crispness, surface texture, embellishment and how the material feels in hand.
See the actual level of sheerness and how the fabric changes over different backing colors.
For lace, embroidery, print and embellished surfaces, confirm how the motif reads at real scale.
A small swatch cannot show an entire garment, but it can still help indicate body, softness and surface behavior.
Place the sample beside the other materials in your project before committing to larger quantities.
SHIPPING & AVAILABILITY
Worldwide delivery is available. Shipping cost is calculated according to the order and destination.
The current policy lists typical international delivery around 7–15 days depending on destination. Carrier, customs and location can change actual transit time.
Sampling does not permanently reserve future bulk inventory. If your production timing is important, ask us to re-check availability before a larger order.
For bridal and other color-sensitive work, use the physical swatch rather than screen color as your decision reference.
NEED HELP CHOOSING WHAT TO SAMPLE?
If you are not sure which fabric is closest, send us the reference first. We can help narrow the options before you spend time sampling unrelated materials.
